True Redemption Center

Seek and Save that

Strong Families Build
Strong Churches, Communities and Nations
With a great mission ahead, Bishop Alton Davis
Jr. accepted the task God had for him to start his own ministry.
True Redemption Center was birthed on Oct. 10, 1999. Bishop
Davis and his wife, First Lady Michelle Davis, together took
on the mind set to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
The Olivette Community Center (West location)
became our place of worship. It started with only 10 members
who trusted the vision of Bishop Davis and stepped out in
faith. Not before long, service had to be moved to the gymnasium
to allow more room for God’s people.
In 2001, Bishop Davis implemented a “Confession
of Faith” for TRC. This confession was made every Sunday
as part of our service. In a short time many were saved, baptized
in Jesus Name, filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence
of speaking in tongues; miraculous healings were manifested;
people in bondage delivered and set free; strong holds from
addictions destroyed by the anointing; and many glorious testimonies.
God is building a team at True Redemption
Center. Several auxiliaries have been formed to address many
trials and tribulations of this world. Just to name a few,
Singles Ministry, Youth Ministry, Men Ministry, Women Ministry
led by our First Lady, Michelle Davis and the Prayer Ministry
that holds up the church praying without ceasing.
On September 16th, 2007, we became one church
in two locations (North and West). The North location is Northwest
High School auditorium at 5140 Riverview Blvd. The Lord led
Bishop Davis to go back to North St. Louis to seek and save
that which is lost because the area is an example of the lives
God delivered many of us from. Therefore, it was important
to go back with the love of God to change our community. We
are excited about the task of being ambassadors of Christ.
