It’s Time For Me To Be Driven By God’s Vision For My Life

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Vision is often nothing more then a desire planted in our hearts by the Lord. When we don’t have direction or desires driven by God we often crash our lives. Vision keeps us on the path that brings glory to God. Vision drives us to obey the leading of God’s spirit by doing the word daily. (ASV) Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint: But he that keepth the law, happy is he.”
Having vision or a heart to accomplish a goal or desire, we need restraint and discipline to stay focused and not get off course. There will be test and temptations; and if we don’t have vision it will detour us from accomplishing our goals. But, if we stay driven by the law of the Lord, happy will we be. Dreams will become a reality and delighted we will be. Another translation says, Proverbs 29:18 (BEV) “Where there is no vision the people run wild.”
We see that every time we turn on the news people are running wild; Drug abuse, Murder, Kidnapping, Domestic Abuse, etc. Vision driven people should wake up with prayer and worship daily to keep us energized to walk or live out our faith daily. The word of God is our restraint it keeps us from running wild.
Men and women, when we do the word happy are we. The first step to have God’s vision is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then you can say I once was blind without vision but now I see with Christ.
Jesus has a plan for our life but we must participate with him, allowing him to guide us by his word. Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
God’s plan for our life is greater than what we can imagine. So don’t deprive yourself of the future God designed for you. This is a future that must be lived out by depending on the unfailing power of God’s word. Vision causes us to build our life on a solid rock (foundation), which are the promises and principles of the word of the Lord.

Proverbs 16:9(BEV) “A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” Setting goals and having a plan is a very good thing. But always be sensitive to the direction God leads you to take. His way is the best plan because he is all knowing and he loves you more than life itself. So ask him to order your steps in his word and let not sin have dominion over you. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. God has given us vision by his spirit and made it known to us. I will close on these four points. (1) Learn the word of God and apply it to your life. (2) Don’t lose focus by what others or doing and saying. Remember you have your own goals. (3) Surround yourself with people who are driven by God’s vision for their Life.
(4) Don’t compromise your stand for God to please yourself or others.

I AM GOD’S DRIVEN HALLELUJAH!!! ARE YOU?
