PASTOR MICHELLE DAVIS

Pastor Michelle Davis, a virtuous woman of God, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She accepted Jesus Christ, was water baptized in Jesus’ name, and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost (with the evidence of speaking in tongues) under the leadership of Bishop James A. Stewart in 1985.

She has been married to Bishop Alton Davis, Jr. since November 1986. Their marriage exemplifies that of a Godly marriage. They are walking together to further the kingdom by helping to prepare the people of God for kingdom living. She is the mother of three children: Whitney, Christy and Alton III. Whitney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Alton III earned his Bachelor's degree in Marketing, and Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Following the vision of her husband, in October 1999, Bishop Alton Davis Jr and Michelle Davis birthed True Redemption Center, of which she became “First Lady”. Continuing on in her zeal for the ministry, she was ordained “Elder” on September 1, 2001. On April 14, 2012, she received the honor of being named “Pastor” of True Redemption Center and “1st Overseer” of Looking Unto Jesus Worldwide Ministries.

Pastor Michelle formed the Women's Ministry at True Redemption Center, "Women of Empowerment". The ministry is designed to empower, strengthen and encourage women, through the Word of God, concerning kingdom living. She focuses on the way God has designed for them to live in this world, as Godly women, according to His principles by the power of the Holy Ghost. This teaching allows the Spirit of God to break yokes which interfere with the liberty, by which God has made them free. Pastor Davis is "Empowering Women for Kingdom Living" by encouraging them to let the word of God take root in their hearts and be evident in their lives.
